Foam on rivers

Whilst walking along your local river, some of you may have noticed foam on the surface of the water. Although this may seem alarming, the following post from the Environment Agency explains how to distinguish between natural, harmless foam, and foam from human sources which may have detrimental effects on rivers -> Foam info

Remember, if you have any concerns about the health of a river please call the Environment Agency on 0800 807060 (24 hours).
